Will He Save Me?

If I cry out and wake you, ignore me
I just can’t bare the nightmares
They haunt me every night
They never go away

I try not to fall asleep every night
I don’t want to see the hell
That comes to crash my dreams
Will it ever go away?

I lay there, sobbing, calling for someone
Can anyone save me from nightmares?
Will there be a Godsend, to save me from this agony?
Can’t He hear me cry, does He care at all?
Can He feel my teardrops run down my face?
Can He taste the salt as they reach my mouth?
Can He save me? Can He overcome my demons?

Will He do it? Will He save me?
